Apartment Life #371
This is a weekly blog post that I'm calling Apartment Hell Life. I've mentioned a few times some of the crazy things that have gone on in and around my apartment complex and in my neighborhood in the past 26 years that I've lived here and people keep telling me I should write a book. But instead of a book, I've decided to share the crazy things that have happened in and around my apartment complex in the last 26 years here in a weekly blog post.
On Monday I saw the Fire Truck leaving from my neighborhood. I smelled smoke but didn't see any so I thought it must have been a small fire somewhere.
As Falcor and I were walking down the street later, I started smelling smoke more and started looking around and saw this. The homeless must have set fire to a bunch of trash right here by the power boxes.
I call them power boxes but each box has different electrical equipment inside them. Some down the street have a bunch of telephone wires while other have traffic light equipment and some have cable equipment. But you can see the scorch marks on the side of the power box there and a bunch of burnt material on the ground.
The high this week was 104F/40C
The low this week was 72F/22C
It's starting to heat up.
So that's it for this week's Apartment Hell Life! Be sure to come back next week for more.
